Tube and pipe industries achieved ISO 9002: 1994
quality management systems certification in 1998.
After revisions to the ISO 9000 series,
tube and pipe industries successfully transformed
and adopted the ISO 9001: 2000 version in 2003.

In November 2005 in follow up to our certification
to SABS ISO 9001:2000, Quality Management
System, TPI was certified to the SABS OHSAS
18001:1999, Occupational Health and Safety
Management System.

In June 2006, Tube and Pipe Industries was certified
to SABS ISO 14001:2004, Environmental
Management System, this brings to three the number
of management systems that TPI is certified to.

In 2006, TPI was recognised by National Social Security Authority for its performance in extensive national industrial assessment. The assessment covered issues which included leadreship, management structures, training, planned preventive mainntenance, contractor safety and waste management. The assessments culminated into a national conference known as SHAW (Safety and Health at Work).

Tube and Pipe won the following awards:
2nd National position (Silver) Award.
1st place (Gold) Award for manufacturing industries in Mashonaland.
Most Improved Company.
2nd place(Silver) Award in the premier companies
category.
